Where were You on March 28, 1973?
Did you know? The Number One Hit Song in the U.S. on March 28, 1973 was “Killing Me Softly With His Song”, by Roberta Flack. Ask your grandparents if they know this song. American singer/songwriter, Matt Nathanson, was born on March 28, 1973. Ask your kids or grandkids if they know him and his songs.
And, while you’re checking, ask if anybody remembers seeing Bobbie and Howard Levin running up and down York Road in Baltimore on March 28, 1973, still trying to buy used office furniture, on the first day of business, for their newly opened Property Owners’ Exchange, Inc. (We still have one of those pieces…and it’s almost paid off!)
WOW! 42 years. And counting…
Between them, Bobbie and Howard barely made it out of high school, and without Bobbie’s strength, Howard would not have had the courage to tackle this opportunity. But they did!
And, together, they worked long hours, they learned and they grew. To be certain, mistakes were made (that would be Howard) and mistakes were repaired (that would be Bobbie).
Through a Passion for what they did and a sense of Awe of our Clients, POE is honored to have evolved as the Applicant Screening Voice of some of the leading firms in their respective industries. Many of our clients have allowed us to represent them for over the past 20 years and some longer…much longer.
Thank you to Our Precious Clients!
We thank you. Our entire POEknows Team thanks you. And, thank you, Roberta Flack. You helped Howard and Bobbie dance through the night 42 years ago!!
